中高合同で新入生を対象に、交通安全講話が開かれました。

スライドを観ながら、鹿嶋警察署の方に自転車等の交通ルールを守る大切さについて教えていただきました。

特に通学で利用する自転車は、自動車や歩行者との衝突によって被害者にも加害者にもなり得ることを念頭に置き、常に周りの安全を確かめながら慎重に走行しましょう。

春の全国交通安全運動街頭キャンペーンが鹿嶋勤労文化会館西交差点(イオン前交差点)で実施され、本校生徒会役員10名が参加しました。

開会式では、生徒会会長の青柳妃代莉さん(３年)が田口伸一鹿嶋市長さんを前に決意表明を行いました。

みんなで交通ルールを守り、交通事故をゼロにしましょう。

　４月10日の放課後、本校中庭にて吹奏楽部と書道部が合同パフォーマンスを開催しました。肌寒い風が吹くなか、吹奏楽部員は熱のこもった演奏をし、書道部員は見事に大きな作品を仕上げました。

　新入生歓迎式のあと、新入生のオリエンテーションが行われ、１年次主任、教務主任、生徒指導部長、保健室の養護教諭からの講話があり、進路指導部長からはスライドによる進路ミニ講話もありました。また、午後にはクラスごとの集合写真撮影、学校施設案内やＨＲ役員決めなどのＬＨＲを実施しました。

Student Council organized the annual Freshmen Welcoming Ceremony where the new first year students were given a quick presentation about their new school, and an introduction to the available clubs at KHS. Hopefully, they will all find a club where they can fit in, and make new friends and fantastic memories while they're here!

The 2024 Entrance Ceremony for both the high school and the junior high school was held today. Students appeared to be very nervous, and their guardians were trying their best to get good photos of the students as they filed in and out of the ceremony.

４月８日(月)、令和６年度の新任式・前期始業式が数年ぶりに体育館で行われました。

また、ALT離任式・前期生徒会役員任命式も行われました。

Teachers who have moved on to different schools, different jobs, or retired at the end of the 2023 school year came for the Farewell Ceremony held this afternoon. Students listened quietly as their teachers made emotional farewell speeches, and reminisced about their time with the students. The teachers were presented with beautiful bouquets.by the Student Council.

県立鹿行生涯学習センターに（行方市白浜）書道部の作品が展示されています。

昨年の鹿嶋市『議会だより』の題字等の揮毫をきっかけに、展示の依頼がありました。

縦1.1メートル、横3.4メートルの紙に「旅」の文字を中心にそれぞれの部員が流浪の俳人と言われている種田山頭火の句を一句ずつ揮毫した作品です。

展示期間は　４月２日（火）～４月２７日（土）午前までです。

Works by the KHS calligraphy club are now on display at the Prefectural Rokko Lifelong Learning Center.

The club was asked to exhibit their works at the center after having written the title characters for last year's "Kashima City Council Newsletter".

Each member of the club wrote a haiku by Taneda Santouka, a wandering haiku poet, on a 1.1 meter by 3.4 meter sheet of paper, focusing on the character for "journey".

The exhibition will run from Tuesday, April 2 to the morning of Saturday, April 27.

** The works will also be presented at the welcome performance for new students together with the brass band after school on April 10 (Wed.). **

Braving the rain to get one step closer to senior high school, new students entering KHS in April, together with their parent or guardian, arrived early in the morning to receive information regarding entrance procedures, schedules, PTA activities, and more. After the session, students lined up to purchase school shoes, textbooks, and sportswear, as well as to get information regarding club activities.

The Class of 2024 had their graduation ceremony today. Though the weather report predicted rain, it didn't dampen the spirits of the grads!

Many were overwhelmed by the emotions that they felt as they took their last steps in the halls where they were hesitant to walk three years ago, where they made so many friends, where they learned so much.... 

We wish the members of the Class of 2024 success in their future endeavours and happiness and prosperity to all!

今年度、鹿島高校と附属中学校は、それぞれ国立教育政策研究所による教育課程実践検証の協力校として研究に努めました。そのことについて、茨城県教育委員会より感謝状をいただきました。

During today's Grad Ceremony rehearsal, a number of 3rd year students were commended for their excellent attendance records, and acheivements in sports. 

The KHS Girls' Kyudo Team is heading to The 22nd East Japan High School Kyudo Tournament to be held in Yokosuka, Kanagawa from March 22 to 24.

Three KHS grads (Grad '23) gave the 1st year students presentations on how they were able to enter the universities of their cholce. The common threads incuded concentrating on subjects required for their respective entrance exams, well-planned study schedules (particularly for weekends), and increased efforts into their club activities. Common ground also included concentrating on English! First year students were eagerly taking notes while they listened to their senpai talk about their various obstacles and struggles, which ultimately led to success.

　かみす防災アリーナで開催された「進路フェスタ2024in鹿島」に２年生(27名)が主体的な進路選択や職業観の育成を目的に参加しました。このフェスタでは校外で行われている数ある進路イベントの中ではめずらしく、地元企業が多数参加しているため、本校では毎年就職・公務員を希望する２年生に参加を勧めています。

　生徒たちは職業や業種体験紹介を中心にそれぞれ各社ブースを周り説明を聞くなどしました。
　今後の進路活動や学校生活につなげてほしいと思います。

Ibaraki Newspaper covered the "Manner-up Campaign" carried out by the PTA to encourage students to wear helmets when they ride their bicycles. Teachers and parents or guardians of students observed students on their way to school, pointing out infractions wherever necessary. Please see the article below.

　１月13・14日に実施される大学入学共通テストの出陣式を行いました。共通テストを受験する生徒を前に熱い激励の言葉を贈りました。

　明日からの共通テストでは体調に留意しながら一人ひとりが思う存分、実力を発揮して欲しいと思います。

　また、出陣式の後、宿泊する受験生たちはバスに乗車し、試験場のあるつくば市に出発しました。

2024 -- The Year of the Dragon!

This will be a year of great joy and prosperity!

We pray for all those affected by the January 1st earthquake on the West Coast.

The opening ceremony for the beginning of the New Year was held today.

Students returned for their first day of the new year, and the last spurt for the 2023 school year.

With 2023 comng to a close, and the Winter Closing Ceremony over and done with, students are now in vacation mode, looking forward to spending their holidays with friends and families.

中高一貫教育校遠隔教育実証実験の一環として、本校と下館第一高校とでの同時双方向型遠隔授業が行われました。

本校のネイティブ英語教諭、キヴィ先生とALTのオリバー先生による１年生の英語の授業を下館第一高校の１年生との合同授業型で実施しました。

While the second year students are on their school trip to Okinawa, the first and third year students were treated to an exciting live performance by WADAIKO GROUP SAI, a professional group that performs uses traditional Japanese instruments. It was a fantastic two-hour show, and twelve students and our ALT Oliver-sensei had the opportunity to experience playing wadaiko on stage together with the members of SAI.

They very much enjoyed their moment on stage!

The Challenge Project Lecture was held today. The speaker, Onuma Tetsuya from Koyama Memorial Hospital lectured the second year students on the attraction of working in the medical field, as well as on the current state of medical services in Rokko District, Ibaraki Prefecture, and Japan as a whole.

Hopefully he inspired a few of our students to pursue careers in medicine.

・多様な価値観に触れて、今しかできないことに挑戦しよう。

今朝８時にバスで羽田空港に向けて出発しました。

今日から３泊４日の沖縄・修学旅行が始まります。

Staff members from Koyama Memorial Hospital visited KHS today to deliver a lecture on Sex Education for the first year high school students. Most young people struggle with sexual orientation, sexuality, and other related topics throughout their youth, some more than others. Hopefully, this lecture has provided students with some clarity, and perhaps they will be able to understand themselves, as well as others, better.

Today, students and teachers donated blood to the Japanese Red Cross Society. The event was sponsored by the Kashima Lions Club. The Red Cross Society is involved internationally in disaster relief, first aid, and so on, while the Lions Club is involved in charity work around the globe. It's nice to see our students and teachers taking this opportunity to do what they can!

Open classes are being held from the 8th to the 10th for parents and guardians who are interested in seeing how and what their children are being taught at Kashima High School and the Junior High School Attached to Kashima High School. Many parents gathered at the junior high classrooms as students carried out presentations of projects they have been working on.

今年度の課題研究の締めくくりとしてポスター発表会を多目的室で行いました。

当日の朝までポスターを作りこむグループもあるなど、ギリギリのスケジュールでしたが全グループ発表までに仕上げることができました。

教頭先生や教務主任の先生もいらっしゃる中、各グループとも堂々とした姿勢で発表している姿・積極的に質問をしている姿が印象的でした。

来週の木曜に残り半分のグループの発表もあります。来週も楽しみましょう！

弓道の県大会が行われ、２年生の藤枝選手が個人第３位に入賞しました

また茨城県の代表選手として、全国選抜大会への出場が決定しました！

団体では予選敗退となりましたが、その悔しさをバネに、順位決定では見事な射を魅せてくれました

普段は部長として、弓道部をまとめてくれる頼りになる存在です。１つの事に忍耐強く取り組むことは誰にも負けない強さがありますが、凛としている姿の中でも、時々お茶目な面がある魅力的な子です。

全国大会といった晴れやかな舞台で、物怖じせず堂々と弓を引けるよう顧問もサポートしていきます！

Student volunteers from KHS, Kashima Nada, Seishin Gakuen and Kashima Gakuen participated in a one-day sports event at Kashima Special Needs School in Numao. 11月８日（水）から11月10日（金）まで、本校にて、学校公開が行われております。

普通教科、探究活動、レクレーション活動などの様子を、保護者の方々等にご覧になっていただいています。

鹿島高校及び附属中学校の生徒会役員が、清真学園の生徒会役員の皆さんと、鹿島神宮駅前でさわやかマナーアップキャンペーンを行いました。

Please see the article below covering the "Kashima Pre-College" event held on October 27th at KHS. Second year students had a choice of 16 lectures by representatives of universities (Ibaraki University, Tsukuba University, and more), lectures regarding how to prepare for the national civil servant exam, and so on. Some students were given a wonderful opportunity to actively engage in lectures in their chosen fields, while others who may still be undecided had the chance to test the waters of fields that may currently hold their interest. Overall, it was an excellent experience for all of the students.

10月31日（火）から11月５日（日）まで、茨城県つくば美術館にて、令和５年度茨城県高総文祭美術展覧会写真展が行われております。

今日、１年次は、大学見学会です。

６つのコースから選択し、都内を中心に大学の見学等をして、情報収集をしたりキャンパスの雰囲気を感じ取ったりします。

主な見学大学は、慶應大学、上智大学、東京理科大学、青山学院大学、駒澤大学、武蔵野大学、などです。

鹿嶋市芸術祭にて、本校写真部、書道部、美術部が展示を行いました。

貴重な展示の機会をいただき、ありがとうございました。

今年度、本校では６名の教育実習生を受け入れており、現在、そのうちの１名が４週間の実習を行っています。

本日、その実習生を大学で担当している順天堂大学准教授の武田剛先生が来校されました。

実習生、教科担当者、ホームルーム担当者、校長、教頭との懇談の後、授業を参観していただきました。

10月23日、附属中学校３年生と保護者のための説明会を実施しました。

保護者の皆様、貴重なお時間を割いてご参加頂きありがとうございました。

本日、第２学年は進路別バス見学会です。

筑波大学、茨城大学、立教大学、日本大学や専門学校、地元企業などで見学、体験をさせていただきます。

国立教育政策研究所による教育課程実践検証協力校に係る学校訪問（家庭科）及び茨城県教育委員会による学校訪問を実施しました。

文部科学省教科調査官の田邉暁子先生、高校教育課指導主事の石塚幸子先生、義務教育課指導主事の寺門友紀先生をご来賓としてお迎えし、ご指導、ご助言をいただきました。また、県内の10名の先生方に授業を参観していただきました。

最初に、本校家庭科教諭による授業公開。次にご来賓の３名の方と本校校長、教頭、授業者による研究協議Ⅰを行い、田邉先生からご指導をいただきました。その後、本校授業改善推進チームによる研究協議Ⅱを行い、県教育委員会指導主事のお二人から指導講評をいただきました。

第２学年生徒を対象に、消費者教育講座が行われました。

県民生活環境部生活文化課のご協力のもと、県消費者生活センター消費者教育啓発員の萩谷成子先生を講師としてお招きし、主に消費行動について学習しました。

第２学年の沖縄への修学旅行が12月に予定されており、様々な事前学習等が行われています。

その一環として、今日は映像視聴などで平和学習が行われました。

We had guest lecturers for the ACE Program from JAL, JST, the Financial Services Agency and even graduates of our own International Course. Our students were completely enthralled by the lecturers, and gained plenty of knowledge that will help them make educated decisions about their futures.

８月８日(火)、本校を会場に令和５年度県東地区書道部錬成会が開催されました。

第９回日本美術展覧会(日展)にて特選を受賞された小林千早先生を講師にお迎えし、生徒と引率の先生方を合わせて60名以上の参加があり、交流を深め、練習の糧とすることができました。

On Monday, July 31st, a number of KHS students, together with students from Hirai Junior High School, volunteered to help in the creation of a local park. The project, called Small Park Project, is being run by NPO organization AT HOME TAKAMATSU, and is intended to create places for residents of all ages to gather and interact.

Today, we held our School Introduction Day for junior high school students. Close to 800 students, many with a parent or guardian in tow, visited our campus to get an introduction to the school facilities and courses offered, as well as to get a taste of the available club activities. Students appeared to be enjoying the day despite the sweltering heat and humidity.

Today marks the beginning of Summer Vacation. It also means that we have to say goodbye to Angela-sensei whohas spent a year with us. The student body, represented by the president of the student council, will miss your presence. We wish you success in your future endeavours.

 Closing Ceremony 

During the closing ceremony that followed, outstanding students were recognized for their accomplishments in both studies and sports, followed by talks from the head of student discipline and the head of student guidance. Let's be careful when travelling or getting together with friends, particularly at the seaside or riversides.

７月15日(土)、ひたちなか市民球場で夏の高校野球２回戦として本校野球部が試合を行いました。

惜敗しましたが、野球部の皆さんは最後まで諦めず頑張りました。

CONGRATULATIONS on a game well played!

The entire KHS student body gathered at school early today in order to arrive at the Hitachinaka City Athletics Stadium in time for the start of the first-round game against Makabe High School.

Kashima started out strong with two runs in the first inning, and did not slow down as it followed up with four in the second. One run in the third, and three runs in the fifth clinched the win for KHS, as the game was called in the fifth with a final score of 10-0.

In the second round, KHS will go up against Ibaraki High School on Saturday, July 15th at 10:00am at the Hitachinaka City Athletics Stadium.

附属中２年生と高校２年生の家庭科で、体験学習が行われました。NPO法人わくわくネット６５様のご協力のもと、赤ちゃんとそのお母さんが来校してくださり、講話と触れ合い体験を行いました。生徒たちは、子育てについてのお話を聞いたり、抱っこの体験をしたりしました。今日の体験をいかして、将来、素敵なママパパになって欲しいです！

The students (and teachers!) are all excited about the upcoming Prefectural Tournament leading to the Summer Koshien. KHS will go up against Makabe High School on July 11th at the Hitachinaka City Athletic Stadium, weather permitting.

In preparation for cheering at the stadium, all students gathered in the gymnasium to practice, ...and boy, did they have a great time letting loose for the first time in four years!

We're all hoping for a victory on the 11th!

On Monday, July 3rd, the English Conversation Club held their “COLORS　いろ、いろいろ” event after school, featuring games – Bingo, Charades and Hangman.

There were prizes for the winners including snacks, handmade keyrings, and so on. 

A good time was had by all visitors! Thank you all for coming!

定期考査第１日の午後、職員研修が２本行われました。

１本目は「救急時の初期対応」について、本校の養護教諭が講師となり、体験型の研修を進めました。

２本目は、今年度、鹿島高校と附属中学校の全学年で活用している、協働学習を簡単に実現する授業支援システム「ClassiNOTE」について、(株)コードタクトの担当者の方を講師として、オンラインで体験型の研修を行いました。

６月26日(月)、令和５年度茨城県立鹿島高等学校・附属中学校第１回学校評議員会が開催されました。

学校概要説明、授業参観・校内見学、意見交換、教科用図書選定協議会等が行われました。

学校評議員の皆様、お忙しい中でのご出席と貴重なご意見等をたいへんありがとうございました。

Four volunteer lifeguards from the NPO Kashima Lifeguard Team visited the school to provide a lesson in Water Safety to the first year students in both the high school and junior high school. There are many water-related accidents annually, many of which could be prevented with proper water safety education, or simply by following the rules at beaches.

Let's have a fun but safe summer this year!

本校吹奏楽部の高校生と附属中学生が、６月18日（日）カシマサッカースタジアムで行われた、鹿島アントラーズ対アルビレックス新潟の試合前のイベントにて演奏を行いました。

今回の演奏プログラムや司会進行は高校生が中心となって考え、「名探偵コナン　メインテーマ」や「アイドル」、「宝島」などを演奏しました。

（入部したばかりの附属中１年生は、ダンスで盛り上げてくれました！）

当日は天気が良く、暑い中での演奏になりましたが、たくさんのアントラーズサポーターの皆様に聴いていただくことができました。演奏を通して、鹿島アントラーズを応援する気持ちが届いていると嬉しいです！

鹿島アントラーズFCの皆様、貴重な演奏の機会をいただき、ありがとうございました。

guidance counsellors who helped students understand their results from

Kawaijuku's Manabi Mirai PASS career aptitude test.

Students listened intently as if their futures depended on it.... And that may just be the case for many!

Ibaraki Newspaper released an article covering the KHS Teaching Seminar held on June 2nd, which featured talks by student teachers carrying out their teaching practica at KHS, as well as by one of our young English teachers. Several ten-minute groups sessions, where the speakers fielded students' teaching-related questions, were also held. Though still not prevalent in Japanese society, drugs are gradually becoming a problem even here.

Today our first year students from both the junior high school and the high school took in a

Drug Abuse Prevention lecture, raising students' awareness of the dangers of drug use and abuse.

Remember to just say "NO!" when it comes to drugs.

Writing essays can be daunting. So much space, but so little to say!

For the first year students, online essay writing guidance provides them with the tools to overcome the immediate task at hand, as well as for tackling more difficult tasks such as entrance exams. Let's pay close attention!

First year students of both the high school and the junior high school took in a lecture on internet morals. The internet is a dangerous place for children of any age, but especially for those who fall victim to their own curiosity.

Let's be careful how we use our smartphones!

令和５年５月21日(日)、令和５年度鹿島高等学校同窓会役員会並びに総会が開催されました。

これまで８年間、秋山武清様(青山学院大学名誉教授)に会長として創立記念事業等たいへんご尽力をいただいてきましたが、今回ご勇退され、後任に水島正人様(鹿嶋市商工会会長)が選出されました。水島様、鹿島高校のさらなる発展のために、どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

2023 Parent Teacher Association General Meeting

Parents are always eager to know what and how their children are doing in school.

During the PTA General Meeting, KHS conducts open lessons for parents to observe.

This is an opportunity for parents to see their child in the classroom setting, and get an idea of what they are like as a student. Parent-teacher conferences are also held where parents can get to know their child's homeroom teacher, and ask any questions they may have. They can also get to know parents of their child's classmates, and form new friendships.

令和５年４月23日(日)、鹿行生涯学習センター主催「ヤングボランティア育成研修」が開催され、本校生徒13名（３年生９名、１年生４名）が参加しました。有意義な研修の機会をありがとうございました。

Today, we had one of the first big events of the new school year to include all of the high school students:

The 2023 Sports Competition To Welcome New Students!

A fun time was had by all as each student competed in tournaments in the following categories:

Soccer, Dodgeball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Long Rope Jumping (two events), and the Relay.

Competition was fierce in each event as students went all out in the hopes of bringing victory to their class. For first year students, this was a wonderful opportunity to make new friends within their new classes, as well as with students from other classes. The laughter and excitement reminds us that though victory is important, cooperation, teamwork, cheering for your friends and classmates, and the desire to just have fun are the building blocks of that victory.

Congratulations to the victorious!

 But more importantly, congratulations...

...to those of you who made new friends!

...to those of you who put out your best effort!

...to those of you who worked as a team to bring about your class’ results!

...and to those of you who had fun and laughed ‘til your belly ached!!!

５月１日、新入生歓迎スポーツ大会が、全校形式では４年ぶりに開催されました。

4月14日（金）と21日（金）の2日間に分けて、１年次で構成的グループエンカウンターが実施されました。

スクールカウンセラーの先生と一緒に、「共通点探し」や「WANTED!!」などの活動を行いました。

初めはみんな緊張している様子でしたが、活動しているうちにどんどん笑顔が増え、クラスの雰囲気が柔らかくなっていました。友人と関わりながら、充実した高校生活を送っていってほしいと思います。

４月19日（水）、生徒総会がオンライン形式で行われました。

鹿島高校・附属中学校の吹奏楽部が行ったクルーズトレイントランスイーツ四季島でのおもてなし演奏に対して、ジェイアールバス関東鹿嶋支店様から感謝状をいただきました。

貴重な演奏の機会をいただきまして、たいへんありがとうございました。

4月10日（月）、４年ぶりに体育館にて、高校の全生徒が参加しての新入生歓迎式が行われました。

本日は、新年度を迎えて初めて１・２・３年生が揃って登校する日で、新入生と 2・3年生との対面式が行われました。新入生の高校生活への期待や意気込み、先輩からの新入生を歓迎する思いがそれぞれ語られました。

対面式の後、生徒会役員からの挨拶、各部活動の代表生からの部活動紹介が映像を通して行われました。
新入生の皆さんには、部活動に入るかどうか、高校生活をより実りのあるものにするための選択をしてもらいたいと思います。

４月７日（金）、茨城県立鹿島高等学校並びに附属中学校の入学式が挙行されました。

新入生の出身中学校、出身小学校の先生方や地域の方々などから、たくさんの祝電をいただきました。

ありがとうございました。

４月６日（木），新任式・始業式が行われ、これまでと同様、生徒は各教室において動画の視聴となりました。

また、生徒会役員任命式も行われました。

この春の異動により、ご退職、転任される教職員の離任式が行われました。

校長より本校での経歴とともに紹介され、その後、お一人ずつお別れの言葉をいただきました。

生徒たちのために熱心にご指導してくださりありがとうございました。

The closing ceremony to bring the 2022 school year year to an end was held on Wednesday, March 23rd. Second year students will be promoted to third year, while the first years are promoted to second year.However, for the next two weeks, students are on vacation, spending time with their friends and families.

鹿島高校・附属中学校にＡＬＴとして勤務してくださっていたテサ先生から、生徒たちに向けて離任の挨拶をしていただきました。４月の最初の頃までは本校に勤務し、その後、アメリカの大学院に進学予定です。これまで、本当にありがとうございました。新天地でのご活躍を祈っております。

なお、鹿島高校・附属中学校はＡＬＴ２人配置校です。また、県内では数少ない英語のネイティブ教諭が配置されています。されに、９月からもう一人ＡＬＴが配置される予定であり、ＡＬＴ３人とネイティブ英語教諭１人の計４人が配置される、県内でも本当に数少ない高校となります。

Flowers are blooming, and students are playing dodgeball outside.

...and the flowers from the junior high school graduation ceremony are giveing off a wonderful smell!

Today was a special day for two students who were unable to attend the Graduation Ceremony on March 1st. 

A special Graduation Ceremony was held this afternoon where they finally received their Certificates of Graduation.

Congratulations, gentlemen!

第２棟と第３棟のトイレ洋式化工事が完了しました。男子用、女子用合わせて24の個室トイレが洋式化されました。（第２棟の女子トイレに、１箇所だけ和式が残してあります。）

大がかりな施設整備改修として、来年度には、本館（第１棟）の長寿命化改修工事が予定されています。

Today was a day of mixed emotions as you said goodbye to your classmates and teachers, as well as to first- and second-year students you have befriended through your club activities.

Though faced with a future unlike any in the past, a future dubbed “With Corona” -- exciting but uncertain, inviting but curtained – YOU, the Class of ’23, will have no difficulties navigating your way through it.

This Class is made up of survivors. You have held your ground, and persevered through tough times, not backing down from challenges along the way. And you will continue to do so because you are survivors.

The future is yours. Own it!

The Day Before the Big Day!

Third year students attended school for their last full day as Kashima High School students.

Come tomorrow, they will become Graduates of Kashima High School. 

Prior to the graduation ceremony rehearsal, students were welcomed with open arms into

the Kashima High School Alumni Association by Vice Chairman, Mr. Sasamoto (Grad '71).

In preparation for the Big Day, both students and teachers rehearsed for tomorrow's graduation ceremony. A strange feeling of realization could be felt among the students, who looked as excited as they were nervous. Tomorrow we will be blessed with sunshine and warm temperatures...or so the weatherman tells us today.

Let's keep our fingers crossed!

本校吹奏楽部の高校生と附属中学生が、JR東日本が運行する寝台列車「TRAIN SUITE 四季島」のおもてなし隊として、JR鹿島神宮駅のホーム、改札口、ロータリーで演奏を行いました。
NHKの取材もあり、いつもと違う環境で緊張しましたが、一生懸命おもてなしの気持ちで演奏しました。乗客の皆様に楽しんで頂けたと思います。

KHS Student Council elections were held on Wednesday, February 15th.

Spokespeople highlighted their chosen candidates' strong points to the KHS student body online.

Below, the candidates followed up with speeches pledging to do their best to serve the student body,

and strive to make school life for students fun and exciting through events and activities.

Spring is showing her colours, albeit modestly.

It'll still be several weeks before she reveals herself in all her splendor, singing gracefully in birdsong, all modesty thrown aside.

I, for one, can't wait....

To run, or not to run, that is the question:

KHS Student Council elections are coming up on February 15th, and students are deciding whether or not to run for the various council positions. It's a chance to make a difference during their high school lives, perhaps even to be remembered as the council that made a difference for all of the students.

But we will have to wait and see.... 

The last third year student assembly before they are free for most of the month of February.

During the next few weeks, many who have already passed their entrance exams or job interviews will be looking for housing and preparing for their first real adventure away from home. Others will still be studying for upcoming exams.

Either way, there are only two school days left for them: grad rehearsal and graduation!

THAT is how close they are to freedom, and

THAT is how close they are to their future.

令和４年度茨城県高等学校剣道新人大会が行われました

女子団体がトーナメントを勝ち上がり、第３位の功績を挙げました

現在、剣道部女子は部員５人

人数が少ないという印象を持ちますが、その５人全員が県大会で戦える人材であることが本校の誇りです！

選手のみなさん、おめでとうございます！

令和５年１月27日(金)、令和４年度生徒指導中央大会が開催され、本校生徒３名が善行生徒表彰を受けました。

三好　唯月　さん（３年）、若松　花夏　さん（３年）、境野　天音　さん（３年）

いずれも、登校途中で困っている方に気付き、迅速に対応し、その方の不安を和らげようとするなど、献身的な行動を取りました。

茨城県吹奏楽指導者協会による「第25回ソロコンテストいばらき」の一次審査が実施され、本校吹奏楽部から３名が県大会に出場できることになりました。

Welcome to 2023, the year of the Rabbit!

May this be a year of great joy and prosperity for all!

The opening ceremony for the beginning of the new year was held today.

Students returned for their first day of classes, and the last spurt for the 2022 school year.

With precious few weeks left in their high school days, the third year students are eager to take on the challenges that still face them, including entrance exams, job interviews and adulthood!

Do your best!

With 2022 drawing to a close, and the Winter Closing Ceremony behind them, students are switching to vacation mode and looking forward to spending time with their friends and families during the winter holidays.

Students were given advise on how best to spend their vacations.

Autumn is making way for Winter, just as 2022 is drawing to a close to make way for 2023.

Childhood is also making way for adulthood, as third year students focus on their futures, some already decided while others still await their fate. However, just a reminder of what John Connor was taught by his mother, Sarah Connor, in the Terminator series:   "There's no fate but what we make for ourselves."

Due to COVID 19, the last KHS Art Appreciation Event was held in 2019. But 2022 is different! Today was a precious day for students.

The Saon Monogatari Theater Company, in collaboration with sand artist, Kisato, presented their moving rendition of Kenji Miyazawa's Milky Way Railroad (also known as Night on the Galactic Railroad, Night Train to the Stars, or Fantasy Railroad to the Stars). Students were sitting on the edge of their seats at the climax when Giovanni finds.... Sorry, no spoilers here! You will have to see it for yourself!

In addition, the KHS Drama Club, together with a number of other first and third year students, had an opportunity to talk with two of the cast members afterwards. The students were excited to receive answers to questions on a wide variety of topics, from the difficulties of getting into character, to how the cast members battle butterflies (nerves), to distinguishing that moment when you realize you're in love(I kid you not).

A big "Thank you!" to the members of the Saon Monogatari Theater Group ,and sand artist, Kisato. This will be a memorable day for all of the students who attended.

第２学年は、12／10(土)から13(火)の４日間、関西方面（広島、大阪、京都）への修学旅行を実施しています。

第２学年の保護者の方々へは、期間中の様子(写真)をClassi(学習支援クラウドサービス)で、随時、配信しています。

それらの中から一部を掲載します。

Mr. Iitsuka and two members from the Kashima City Hall City Planning Department visited KHS on Monday December 5th, and met with the Student Council to discuss ideas for reviving the Nakamachi area of the city.

In recent years, some businesses in Nakamachi have closed down due to tough economic times, others due to the difficulties of competing with internet shopping, while still others just fade out with the end of the family blood line. Sadly, shuttered shops gradually became the norm, leaving the streets empty of tourists and even local citizens.

However, there is a spark that is promising to grow to a flame. The City Planning Department has been approached by individuals and start-up businesses desiring to renovate the tired buildings of Nakamachi, giving them a new facade, and opening shops to attract more people to the area. A number of shops have already opened, and others are in the planning stages. With this new momentum to revive Nakamachi, the City Planning Department is speaking with high school students to get fresh ideas regarding what kinds of businesses students believe would draw them back to Kashima to live and work after they graduate from college or university, as well as what kinds of businesses that will attract more visitors to Nakamachi.

Revealing new perspectives that the members from the Planning Department had not yet consdiered, Student Council provided fodder for new ideas and new directions for Nakamachi. Overall, it was a very productive and meaningful meeting.

I'm looking forward to seeing what kinds of businesses will sprout up to spur on the growth of Nakamachi in the coming years.

11月18日（金）、25日（金）に３年１・２組の生徒によるプロジェクトK研究発表が行われました。プロジェクトKは、自身が疑問に思う、もしくは興味のあるテーマに対して自ら仮説を立て、検証、考察をしていく本校独自設定科目です。それぞれの班がこれまで積み重ねてきた研究成果をポスター発表しました。生徒たちは緊張しながらも、相手にいかに伝えるかを考え、そして時には笑いも交えて発表をしていました。その後の質疑応答も白熱し、活発に意見交換ができました。進学後、就職後には自分でプレゼンをする機会がきっと多くなるはずです。その時、今回の経験が活かされることを願っています。

11月19日(土)、神栖市文化センターにおいて、令和４年度茨城県アンサンブルコンテスト県東地区大会が開催されました。

本校からは３組が出場し、どの組も素晴らしい演奏でした。

１組が地区代表として、県大会に出場することになりました。

11月13日　本校サッカー部3年　山條ファイサル温仁君（GK）が全国高校サッカー選手権大会茨城県優秀選手（17名）の一人に選出されました。チーム成績は県ベスト8で、惜しくも全国大会への夢は果たせませんでしたが、先輩に続き、来年も全力で全国に挑戦してくれることを期待しています。

18時の部活動の全体練習が終わる頃、外は冷え込みますね･･･。

今日は剣道部の大会結果をお知らせします。

先週末に行われました、令和４年度第55回茨城県高等学校剣道勝ち抜き大会において

男子　団体ベスト16

女子　団体第３位（１部）

という功績を残しました。

女子は、なんと２年生１人、１年生４人での快挙！これからの活躍にも期待ですね。

茨城県教育庁学校教育部高校教育課による学校訪問が実施されました。

英語担当指導主事の先生が来校され、英語コミュニケーションⅠの授業参観、研究協議が行われました。

茨城県では、教育に対する関心と理解をいっそう深める機会として、毎年11月１日を「いばらき教育の日」、11月を「いばらき教育月間」と定めています。
その一環として、鹿島高校・附属中学校生徒会役員の生徒たちを中心に、鹿島神宮駅前において、清真学園高校と合同で、さわやかマナーアップキャンペーンを行いました。

県立高校等チャレンジ・プロジェクト事業の一環として、本日6時間目に、高１学年を対象に講師の岡本文幸（アントラーズF.C地域社会連携ディビジョン　グループマネージャー）を招いて、「チャレンジ・プロジェクト講演会～プロフェッショナルが語る～」を実施しました。

アントラーズの原点とその理念、アントラーズと地域のつながり、岡本さんからの現役高校生に向けて熱いアドヴァイスなど多くのことを語ってくれました。

本校において、茨城県赤十字血液センターによる献血が行われました。

鹿島ライオンズクラブの皆様のご協力をいただき、保健委員会が主体となり、たくさんの生徒たちが献血をしました。

ALTの先生の送別会、表彰伝達式と閉講式を行いました。オンラインで実施し、各教室に配信されました。

ALTのロバート先生には、約１年間お世話になりました。母国アメリカでの今後のご活躍をお祈りします。ロバート先生の後任の先生は、８月上旬に本校に赴任予定です。

表彰伝達式では、英検合格者、ニュース時事能力検定合格者、部活動等での陸上競技部、バスケットボール部女子、弓道部男子、水泳、の皆さんの表彰が紹介され、代表で、英検２級合格の平山さん（３年）、弓道部県大会男子団体５位の今井さん（３年）が表彰されました。

閉講式では、校長先生、進路指導部長と生徒指導部長の先生からのお話がありました。

生徒の皆さんには、新型コロナや交通事故、水の事故などに注意して、有意義な夏休みを過ごしてほしいと思います。

本日は写真部・水泳・ゴルフの壮行会を行いました。
普段は放送だけですが、今回はgoogle Meetを使用してオンライン配信を行いました。
初めてのことで先生も生徒もドキドキで緊張しているのが写真からも伝わってきますね。

今日と明日、家庭基礎の授業で保育体験学習を実施しています。
いつもは表情の固い男子高校生も、赤ちゃんの前では表情筋が緩んでニコニコでした。

茨城県高等学校総合体育大会の水泳男子で、山口　由貴光　さん（２年）が、50㍍自由形と100㍍自由形で第１位となり、２種目制覇を成し遂げました。

週末から一気に暑くなりましたね。
今日は最高気温34℃予報です、生徒と一緒にプールに入りたくなります･･･

先週行われた剣道部の功績をお知らせします！
これで３年生は引退となりますが、最後に有終の美を飾り後輩にいい引継ができたのではないでしょうか。

When I go home after a long day, there's a beautiful Japanese

When I see the clouds of leaves swaying in the breeze, I just feel
the urge to reach out and touch them....

It's at that moment that I really understand the Japanese phrase,
"心が癒やされる".
It feels like my soul is being healed....

長い一日が終わって、駐車所に戻る途中に美しいもみじがある。
風に雲のような葉っぱが揺られているところを見ると、つい手が出ます。
その瞬間に日本語の「心が癒やされる」という言葉が完全に理解できる。
魂まで癒やされます…。

本日６時限目に中・高１学年を対象に「海の安全教室」を実施しました。
鹿嶋の海で活躍する「鹿嶋ライフガードチーム」の皆さんを講師にお迎えして、水辺で遊ぶ際に気を付けたい
ことについてお話をしていただきました。

〇海に潜む危険な生物(クラゲ、エイ)や堤防には近づかない！
〇離岸流に流されたら落ち着いて助けを待つ
〇海でも熱中症には注意
〇大地震が起きたらすぐに陸にあがり高台へ(津波が来る恐れあり)

以上のことを心にとめて、安全で楽しいレジャーに出かけましょう。

Members of the Kashima Lifeguard Team visited to hold a lecture on Beach Safety for the first year junior
and senior high school classes. They taught us about the following:

️* Dangerous creatures (jellyfish, rays, etc.)lurking in the vicinity of the embankments

* The dangers of being pulled under by the rip current

* Heat stroke prevention (even at the beach!)

️* The dangers of a tsunami when a big earthquake suddenly hits

現在、鹿島高校・附属中学校の職員による相互授業参観が、毎日行われています。
　

　　　　

安心・安全への配慮から、各洋式トイレの個室に便座除菌クリーナーが設置されました。

　　
今年度、本校では５名の教育実習生を受け入れています。
今日はその中の１名が研究授業を行いました。
新潟医療福祉大学健康科学部から佐藤大輔教授が来校され、授業参観等を行っていただきました。

　　
CO2濃度の測定は、多人数が利用する空間での不十分な換気を明らかにするために効果的な方法です。
そこで、教室内の換気を十分に保つため、全教室にCO2モニターを設置しました。電子黒板用スタンドに置いてあります。

　本日放課後、将来教員を志す生徒対象に「KASHIMA教職セミナー」を開催しました。現在、教育実習で来校されている先生方と本校のフレッシュな若手の先生方を講師に迎え、意見交換、情報共有を行いました。自身の学生時代の経験等を通して、教員になるための心構え、教員のやりがい、魅力等についてお話を伺いました。生徒たちにとっては今後自分が進む道について深く考え、モチベーションを上げる良いきっかけになったと思います。先生方、ありがとうございました！！

久しぶりの弓道部更新です。
最近は毎日のように３年生が色んな部活動で引退していきます。
顧問としてもとても寂しい時期ですね。

弓道部男子団体が県総体決勝リーグに進出し、最終結果は第５位となりました！

弓道部男子といえば、昨年の秋に全国選抜に出場してからなにかと注目してもらったと思います。
その裏では、中々結果が出ずに苦しんだ半年でした。それでもＯＢＯＧ・同級生・後輩に支えられて最後までやりきってくれましたね。
負けても勝っても、もちろん悔しい気持ちはあるでしょう。それでも最大限やりきった、楽しかった！と笑顔を見せてくれるのは顧問として一番嬉しいことです。

様々な部活動で引退していく３年生ですが、これから受験・就活という新たな道に進んでいきます。顧問としての役目は終わりましたが、学校スタッフとして卒業までしっかりと見届けたいと思います。

　　
　6月8日(水)6時限目に、2年生対象に小論文ガイダンス、1年生対象に薬物乱用防止教室がそれぞれ実施されました。

　第一学習社の森谷様をお招きして、小論文の書き方についてレクチャーしていただきました。近年の入試では小論文が課されることが多くなります。生徒たちにとって、物事を論理的に表現し、伝えるスキルを身につける第一歩となったのではないでしょうか。

　日本薬科大学の新井様をお招きして、薬学から見た薬物乱用防止についてのお話をいただきました。正しい知識と倫理観を身に付け、自らの強い意志を持って善悪の判断ができるようになってほしいと思います。

名人になれるでしょうか？夏井先生！

（今回は、ネイティブ英語教諭のキヴィ先生が担当しました。）

連休の中日です、見事な快晴の中で３年生のクラスマッチが行われました。
女の子たちは連休の時間を作ってオリジナルの応援グッズを作っていたようです。どれも完成度が高かったです！

午前の部は各部門に分かれ、サッカー・バドミントン・卓球・文化部門で戦いました。
　　

さすが３年生、お互いに声を掛け合って運営してくれるので教員陣はのんびりと応援しながら写真撮影していました。会場はバラバラでしたが、各部門クラスのために貢献してくれました。

さて、午後は全員外にでての種目です。２年ぶりのクラスマッチに気合の入り方が違いますね･･･

まずは縄跳び（全員跳び、八の字とび）です。お互い声を掛け合って頑張りました！
大縄を回した子たちは次の日腰痛で大変だったようです･･･。

最後はメインイベントであるリレーです。

ドキドキのスタートと見せかけて･･･全員で転ぶというサプライズ！とても大盛り上がりでしたね。
再スタートはきっちりと！このクラスになって２年目ですから、各クラス応援に熱が入りました。
とても楽しい１日に、みんな心なしか黒くなってました（日焼けがつらいです･･･）。

4/27（水）に高校１年生のクラスマッチが行われました。

例年であれば全学年で行うところですが、昨年度同様、新型コロナウイルス感染症対策として、１学年のみで行いました。

午前中はあいにくの雨に見舞われ、外で行うはずだったサッカーは体育館でバレーボールへと変更に。

それでも午後は天気が回復してくれたため、大縄とリレーは外でできることになりました。

１年生にとっては初めての大きなイベント。

みんな楽しく過ごすことができたようですね♪ 

４月22日（金）水戸市にある茨城県武道館で弓道の春季大会県東地区予選会が行われました。
朝は雨が降っていましたが、会場に着く頃には快晴で天気に恵まれました。

結果は、男子団体優勝・第３位　女子団体第３位　男子個人優勝・準優勝
沢山賞状を持ち帰ってきてくれました。
朝は、前回渡された優勝トロフィーを忘れそうになるというプチハプニングがありましたが、見事に持ち帰ってきました。おっちょこちょいですが、素晴らしい健闘です。

いつもとは違って集合写真を撮りました。
男子は２チーム、女子は１チームが県大会出場を決めました。５月中旬にある県大会でも活躍してもらいましょう！

４月13日に吹奏楽部と書道部の合同パフォーマンスが行われました。

沢山の新入生、同級生が見に来たので、緊張している様子でしたが、堂々とパフォーマンスする姿はとても格好良かったです！
最後は上からの全体写真です。吹奏楽部・書道部ともに２棟４階で活動してますので、是非見学・入部お待ちしています。

春休みの寒さはどこへ･･･というくらいに暑い週末でしたね。
すでに学校内ではワイシャツ姿の子が沢山います。
ただ、春休みの寒さもあってか今年は始業式・入学式に桜が満開だったことは嬉しかったです！

さて、順番は前後してしまいますが、４月６日に始業式、そして新学期がスタートしました。
今年度からクラス名簿が男女混合となり、新しい席にソワソワしている子ども達の様子が窺えました。

始業式では、新学年スタッフの紹介もあり、子ども達の眼差しはいつになく真剣でした。みなさんは、新しいクラスはいかがですか？

学年集会では、進路・生徒指導の話がありましたね。
特に進路では「自分がなにになりたいのか」「どうしてその大学を選んだのか」自分探し、分析が大事だという話がありました。
本日は実力テストです、春休みの頑張りの成果を発揮して下さいね！

春の温かい日差しのもと、中高合同の入学式が挙行されました。

厳粛な雰囲気の中、中学1年生40名、高校1年生232名の入学が許可されました。

全学年が揃い、明日から活気があふれてくるでしょう。

コロナウィルス感染症の勢いもなかなかおさまりを見せず、まだまだ制約の多い生活になるとは思いますが、それぞれが工夫をこらし、学校生活をスタートしてほしいと思います。

鹿島高校は18日に修了式が終わり、早めの春休みとなりました。
昨日は３月とは思えない寒さと思っていたら雪が降りましたね。今日は快晴！といった感じで天気もバタバタしております。

さて、先週末の３連休に弓道部では大きな大会へ参加してきました。

東日本大会は、本来であれば冬季県大会で入賞した高校が推薦されますが、新型コロナウイルス感染拡大のため県大会が延期となりました。そのため、秋季県大会の結果から鹿島高校男子団体が推薦校として出場させていただきました。
頂いた貴重な機会を選手と全力で挑んできましたが、結果は予選敗退となりました。

上位大会ならではの緊張感・雰囲気、まだまだ改善するべきところが沢山見えました。
来週には延期となっていた冬季県大会が開催されます、今回の悔しさを県大会でリベンジしてもらいたいです。

ちなみに、会場は山梨県だったのですが、360度山々があって、「富士山はどれだ･･･？」と困惑した大会期間となりました。

JTBの方を講師に招き、オンラインでワークショップを開催しました。SDGsの概要を理解し、なぜSDGsが必要なのかを自分なりに考えました。また、「貧困」と「地球温暖化」の関係や、海のプラスティック汚染をなくすためにできることなど、今後の行動にどうつなげるかを議論しました。

議論も活発で、生徒一人一人が生き生きとワークショップに取り組んでいました。

高校入試が終わり、あと数日で修了式となります。
自分が担当している学年が最高学年になるのか･･･と時間の流れの早さを感じています。
先日のLHRでは、クラスで４月に撮った動画を見返して懐かしさを共有しました。

さて、２学年はもうすぐ受験生・就活生となります。
コロナ禍で外へ情報収集へ行く機会がなかなかない学年ですが、この学年だからできる【オンライン対応】で進路別ガイダンスを行いました。

各学問の導入の話や模擬授業を受けて、より希望進路への意欲が高まった生徒、ちょっと違うかな･･･と見直しを考えた生徒さまざまです。この時期だからこそ沢山情報を集めてあれこれ検討するのが大事なので、頭をフル回転させて考えてみて下さい！

最後に実践演習で作ったという折り紙をもらって教室へ飾りました。
少しクラスが華やかになりました。

本日は卒業証書授与式が行われました。
雨も降らずよかったです！

新型コロナウイルス感染症により高校１年生の終わりから卒業まで色んなことを我慢してきた学年です。
体育祭、文化祭、修学旅行、当たり前の様に高校生が経験するものを全て奪われてしまいました。大人からするともどかしい気持ちで一杯です。
子どもたちはどのような気持ちで卒業していくのでしょうか。どの教室でも笑顔に溢れ、恩師に感謝の花束を贈る姿は立派な大人に見えます。心の中には不満もあるでしょう。それでも今できることを精一杯楽しんで校舎を後にする背中はとてもたくましいものでした。

本日は２学年文系クラスでACEプログラムの発表会が行われました。

ACEプログラムとは、話す力・書く力に重点化した実践的な英語力の育成を目指した鹿島高校独自の学校設定科目となります。
自分たちの行いたい探究活動を英語で発表する準備を続けてきて、ようやく発表するところまで完成しました
自分達でスライドやポスターも作成し、頑張りました。

最近職員室では健康の話が多く出てきます。
50分の授業をするとお腹がすぐすいてお菓子を食べてしまいますが･･･

２学年の鹿島タイムでは、12月に実施した修学旅行での探究学習をまとめています。
ポスター作りが始まっていますが、各班取り組み方が違うので見ていて楽しいです。

模造紙の色で「ウグイス」という表記がありました。
左の写真にある緑色の模造紙のことなのですが、「ウグイス･･･って何色のことだ？」と困惑している生徒たちが面白かったです。

みんなで協力して完成したポスターは廊下に掲載していこうと思います。

こんにちは。
鹿島高校では、定期考査が終わり久々の授業がスタートしています。

各教室では、オンラインでの授業配信も行っているのですが、自分の授業が配信されるというのはソワソワします。

話合い活動では、Chromebookを活動中の生徒たちの中に持っていき、話合いに参加しているような雰囲気を味わってもらいました。

授業日も残り少なくなってきたので、なるべくクラス全員揃って残りの時間を過ごしたいなと祈るばかりです。

１月28日（木）
６・７時間目に２学年で進路ガイダンスを行いました。
本来は講師の先生方にきていただき対面式を計画していましたが、オンラインでの開催となりました。

６時間目は全体会ということで、進路に関係なく一番大事なことは、どこで何をしたいかの目的意識を持つことだと教えてもらいました。
熱心にメモをとる姿が見られました。

７時間目は、４年制大学・看護系・専門学校短大・公務員・一般企業の５つに分かれて進路別の講座となりました。それぞれ今何が必要なのか、これからどうあるべきかをそれぞれの講師の先生方に教えて頂きました。

高校入学した時から、新型コロナウイルスの影響でオープンキャンパスに行く機会がなく、まだフワッとした進路希望しか出せない子ども達ですが、今回のガイダンスをきっかけにギアが入るといいですね！

鹿島高校では、２学年に家庭基礎の授業があります。
家庭科といえばどんな思い出がありますか？
みんなで何とも言えない肉じゃが･･･？を作った高校時代が懐かしいです。

現在は裁縫の授業を行っているそうです。
少し見ていて危ない手つきをしていますが、一生懸命やっている風景をおさめてきました。

フェルトを使って、食べ物を作っています。
着々と完成に近づいている様子でした。みなさんはこれから何ができるか分かりますか？

今日はフロントガラスに水滴がついていたので拭こうとしたら、凍った状態で、ガリガリっと音がしました。とても朝からビックリしましたね。

先日、弓道部では県東地区大会に参加してきました。
初めての選手宣誓に、部長は朝から緊張していたのでしょうか･･･口数が少なかったです。

会場が水戸だったので、頬を突き刺すような冷たい風に苦戦しましたが、みんな頑張っていました！

男子団体優勝、赴任して初めての地区大会での快挙です！

この調子で県大会も頑張って貰いましょう。

鹿島高校に赴任して３年、初めての雪を観測しました！
そんなに降らないよ～って言っていたら、みるみる白くなっていきましたね。
放課の子ども達は中庭の銀世界で楽しんでいました。

中々見られない光景に、練習中に後から写真を撮らせて貰いました。
子どものことは雪って純粋に楽しんでいましたが、大人になると車のタイヤが･･･交通網は大丈夫かな･･･と心配事の方が多くなりますね。

今日は開講式でした。
路面凍結が心配な中、クラス全員揃って新年の挨拶が出来たのはとても嬉しかったです。
さて、明日から附属中入試の関係で子ども達は自宅学習となりますが･･･みなさん、課題はしっかりと終わりましたか！？

鹿島高校の特徴といえば、鹿島神宮が徒歩圏内にあることですね。
部活動ごとに初詣にいっているところもあります。子ども達も新年に家族・友達と行ったよ～という話を沢山聞きますね。
自分の実家の方では、人混みを避けて小さな神社へ家族で初詣に行くので、初めて鹿島神宮に先生方といった時は人の多さにビックリしました･･･。
さて、みなさんおみくじの結果はいかがでしたか？私は大吉でしたよ！

金曜日に開講式がありますが、週末には附属中の入試が控えています。
小学６年生のみなさんは、体調に気をつけて試験当日まで頑張って下さい！
高校生の皆さんは休みが増えた！ではなくしっかり課題を終わらせましょうね！
