20260406 And thus begins the new school year!    The 2026 Opening Ceremony was held today as new staff members also faced the student body for the first time. There are many new faces and names to remember again this year.    The New Student Council members were also sworn in for duty, whilst also learning that the Cultural Festival may be held every year going forward. Now wouldn't that be exciting?       Finally, second and third year students learned who would be their homeroom teacher and assistant homeroom teacher for the new year. A little bit of whispering could be heard, and many smiling faces could be seen as they learned who would lead them into the new school year.       

20260403 A number of teachers have moved on to different schools and different lives with the beginning of April, while others retired at the end of the 2025 school year. Many of these teachers came for today's Farewell Ceremony held in the afternoon by the Student Council. Students listened intently as teachers reminisced about their years at KHS and their time spent with the students. They were then presented with beautiful bouquets by the Student Council and representatives of the student body.   Thank you and Farewell! We hope to see you again!                                

20260328　みんなのスポーツフェスタ2025 in KASHIMAカシマスポーツセンター(鹿嶋市神向寺23-2)にて行われたイベントに、運営ボランティアとして本校生徒たちが、KLC(鹿島リーダースクラブ)を中心に23名参加しました。                 当日、たくさんの方のご参加、ありがとうございました。

20260326　令和７年度最後のＰＴＡ評議員会（第３回）が、16時30分より大会議室にて行われました。　　　　　　 　今年度お引き受けいただいた評議員会の関係者の皆様には、ご多忙の中、本校のＰＴＡ活動と学校運営の充実のため、慎重にご審議いただき、誠にありがとうございました。

20260324　The 2026 academic year 1st year students entering KHS in April are just days away from becoming senior high school students. Together with parents or guardians, everyone listened intently and jotted down information regarding entrance procedures, schedules, PTA activities, and much more.   We look forward to seeing you all in April!                     

20260319 Academic Year Closing Ceremony And so another school year comes to a close, as students are recognized for their achievements in academics, sports and club activities as the 2025 school year comes to a close. The gymnasium seemed a little larger as the third year students have graduated, making the student body look smaller. Second year students are one day closer to becoming third year students, and they are ready to take the wheel as they steer their way toward their future dreams and ambitions.                       

20260317 The Senior High School Student Council Elections were held today as candidates (and two teachers standing in for candidates who were ill) made their promises and pleas to the student body. Voting was carried out online.                   

20260313　１年次探究活動「鹿嶋地域の課題検討」  　担当教員からの説明後、グループでマトリクス図を使って、探究活動を行いました。最後に、副校長による今年度最後の探究活動に関する講話がありました。          【本時の探究の流れ】 （１）問題点を洗い出す （２）問題を整理し、絞り込む （３）テーマ（取り組む課題）を決定して、テーマ名を決める （４）選定理由をまとめる。    来年度も、皆で協力し合って、探究活動に取り組んでいきます。
