20260328　みんなのスポーツフェスタ2025 in KASHIMAカシマスポーツセンター(鹿嶋市神向寺23-2)にて行われたイベントに、運営ボランティアとして本校生徒たちが、KLC(鹿島リーダースクラブ)を中心に23名参加しました。                 当日、たくさんの方のご参加、ありがとうございました。

20260326　令和７年度最後のＰＴＡ評議員会（第３回）が、16時30分より大会議室にて行われました。　　　　　　 　今年度お引き受けいただいた評議員会の関係者の皆様には、ご多忙の中、本校のＰＴＡ活動と学校運営の充実のため、慎重にご審議いただき、誠にありがとうございました。

20260324　The 2026 academic year 1st year students entering KHS in April are just days away from becoming senior high school students. Together with parents or guardians, everyone listened intently and jotted down information regarding entrance procedures, schedules, PTA activities, and much more.   We look forward to seeing you all in April!                     

20260319 Academic Year Closing Ceremony And so another school year comes to a close, as students are recognized for their achievements in academics, sports and club activities as the 2025 school year comes to a close. The gymnasium seemed a little larger as the third year students have graduated, making the student body look smaller. Second year students are one day closer to becoming third year students, and they are ready to take the wheel as they steer their way toward their future dreams and ambitions.                       

20260317 The Senior High School Student Council Elections were held today as candidates (and two teachers standing in for candidates who were ill) made their promises and pleas to the student body. Voting was carried out online.                   

20260313　１年次探究活動「鹿嶋地域の課題検討」  　担当教員からの説明後、グループでマトリクス図を使って、探究活動を行いました。最後に、副校長による今年度最後の探究活動に関する講話がありました。          【本時の探究の流れ】 （１）問題点を洗い出す （２）問題を整理し、絞り込む （３）テーマ（取り組む課題）を決定して、テーマ名を決める （４）選定理由をまとめる。    来年度も、皆で協力し合って、探究活動に取り組んでいきます。

20260305  Graduation Ceremony   The Class of 2026 had their graduation ceremony today. The previous day's rains left a lot of puddles around the campus, but the Sun was shining brightly for our Grads today! Serious faces overwhelmed by the emotions accompanying their last steps in the hallways and classrooms where, three years ago, they were hesitant to walk, where many friendships had been created, where so much knowledge had been acquired....  Those faces were replaced by smiles, tears of happiness, joyful laughter, and a comradery that will not easily be forgotten! We wish the Graduating Class of 2026 success in their future endeavours, and happiness and prosperity to all!                                       

20260304 The Day Before The BIG Day Today was the second to last day of attendance for the 3rd year students. Tomorrow is, of course, The BIG Day -- Graduation. The day started with homeroom, followed by an assembly. After that came Alumni Association Induction Ceremony and the Grad Cermony Rehearsal. Even though Graduation itself is tomorrow, the students were already feeling a sense of completion, a sense of accomplishment. One more step toward the future, toward their dreams, toward reality.

20260217　第1年次・附属中３年 卒業生講話「学びの道筋を知ろう」 昨年度本校を卒業し、進学・就職先で活躍されている４名の先輩方を招待し、進路講話を開催しました。 このイベントは、本校のチャレンジ・プロジェクト事業の一環として実施したものです。 【実施日時】令和8年2月 17 日(火) 7時間目 (15:30~16:20) 【実施場所】本校体育館         　講話の中では、国・私立大学など進学先で学んでいることやキャンパスライフ、公務員としての仕事の状況など、幅広いお話をいただきました。また先輩方から、進路実現に向けて努力する本校生徒へアドバイスをいただきました。本校生もメモを取りながら、先輩方のお話を熱心に聞いていました。  　後輩たちのためにお話していただいた皆さん、誠にありがとうございました。 【チャレンジプロジェクト】

20260213　１年次探究活動「クラス別テーマ・内容分け」   　最初に担当教諭からの説明のあと、具体的にテーマについて直接話をして、内容の近い生徒同士でグループを組みました。その後、副校長より、「テーマ設定」についての説明をしました。 　これから、来年度に向けてテーマ設定をして、より深い探究活動を行います。

20260209 Winter Wonderland Although the words "Winter Wonderland" may bring to mind Christmas and Santa Claus, Winter arrived late for Christmas, but in full force over the weekend throughout much of Japan. Rokko District was also not spared, and many woke up to a quiet blanket of white, wondering how they were going t get out of the driveway! Though the snow may have wreaked havoc on the roads, it is still a wonderous sight to behold. Hands up, all those who made snowmen!

20260202　弓道部大会結果報告1月31日（土）にアルテンジャパン武道館（茨城県武道館）で行われた中野優勝杯記念大会の結果報告です。男子団体　優勝（山内、石川、田中） 今年度は関東大会や全国大会に複数回出場させてもらい、貴重な経験を積むことができました。来年度も良い結果が残せるよう頑張ってまいりますので、引き続きご支援をよろしくお願いします！

20260130 Last Day of Classes for Third Year Students Today was the last day of classes for third year students. An assembly was held during which students were briefed on their next day of attendance (the day before graduation for grad rehearsal), voting in the upcoming Lower House election (BUT not who to vote for), as well as how to spend their time off before grad wisely. Most students will be eagerly preparing for their first steps toward adulthood, and living on their own for the first time in their lives.   We're cheering you all on!
